Cambodia's hinterland where pure nature remains
Our fields are located at an altitude of about 650 meters above sea level in Cambodia, where tropical rainforest trees grow thick and the air is clear and clean, just like wild elephants and crocodiles live in.
The people there coexist with nature and lead a life rooted in the earth. We grow our own vegetables, raise chickens, and catch fish. Electricity is limited and laundry is done in a nearby river. Although there are roads, it is difficult to get to the site due to undeveloped transportation and other reasons. We thought, "We can do essential agriculture here to restore human food." We started farming in such a village in the mountains of Cambodia.

Two years until pepper can be harvested
First of all, it was necessary to remove fallen trees and remove large weeds. Since we are based on natural farming methods, we do not cut down living trees. When the land has been opened to some extent, weeds are removed from the roots while trying not to disturb the aggregated structure of the soil as much as possible.
After that, I finally planted the pepper seedlings, but I had to pick the flower buds for the first year or so in order to prioritize the growth of the vines. By growing the vine in this way, the harvest will finally begin.

Based on natural farming, the concept is pesticide-free without using any chemical fertilizers.
The farms here are blessed with a favorable climate and soil (red soil), and the natural power of the crops and the energy of the earth allow plants and animals to grow healthily.
The operation of the farm can create local employment. Currently, we are asking two families to manage the farm.
It is through their diligent care that they grow delicious, large-grained peppers.
Cambodia has seen remarkable development in recent years, but the current situation is that the standard of living is still low in areas other than urban areas.
We will continue to support the development of the entire village by acquiring skills through work such as farm management and pepper sales, and by receiving the correct amount of compensation.
